The best part was the area, especially how close it is to the water. Fantastic. The apartment itself seemed like the oldest furnished one, with a creaky sofa headrest and other things, and it was also the smallest. The mattresses were great, but the bathroom was the worst: mold in the shower, on the inside and outside surround, and in some of the grout. We also found silverfish the day we arrived, and the drains were incredibly rusty. Mosquito nets would help too. We've stayed in this area many times, and the place could be much nicer. Three stars for the location.

The mattresses were completely worn out and awful, so we took off a star. We also had mosquitoes, though we understand there isn't much that can be done. Maybe someone should check the skylights again in case they're hiding in there. Otherwise, the price was fair and everything we needed was there. It wasn't especially modern, but it was usable. A broken plug, bad light bulbs, and a broken crib were sorted out right away after we called. We had our five-month-old baby with us. The other guests were warm toward the baby and didn't mind the "noise."

Winter amenities take some getting used to if you're from the city, but the owners need a holiday too. What you get is priceless peace and quiet. It's easy to get around and park, something you can only dream about during peak season. The house itself is super cozy. 😁😁😁😁

The other guests were quiet, and the place is close to the dike in a peaceful spot. Rooms are practical. The double bed had a comfortable mattress, though it was noisy. The bathroom was a good size, but the shower head is old and needs replacing. Some large windows and balcony doors wouldn't open at all, or only tilted. The kitchenette had no microwave or dishwasher, and the parking space was very tight.
