Mimi is so attentive and fun, and always has great tips. She makes sure guests have what they need, and coffee and tea are free and always available. It’s a lovely, well-kept guesthouse with a fantastic breakfast. I highly recommend staying here and would love to come back.

I was after a quiet place to unwind and found just that at Pension Engelmann, in the lovely rural village of Altharlingersiel. The host and staff are friendly and attentive. My room was well maintained, and breakfast was delicious. They even accommodated my personal preferences. I highly recommend the guesthouse and would gladly return.

The excursion tips were excellent, and the owner was wonderful. We felt very comfortable at Pension Engelmann and had excellent accommodation for our short coastal break. Breakfast left nothing to be desired. Many thanks again!

Breakfast was the best part of every morning, with a beautifully laid table and everything we could want. We left satisfied each time. The people here are very friendly, the little guesthouse is lovely, and our room was clean. Drinks were always available at reasonable prices, plus free tea and coffee. We’ll definitely be back!

It’s a peaceful spot out in the countryside, with three restaurants right nearby and a great base for bike rides. The owners are very friendly, and breakfast is prepared with a lot of care. A lovely guesthouse.
