Zur Edlen Krone

We were the only guests, so breakfast was made just for us. There was a good choice of food and plenty for what we needed. The hotel was quiet and clean, and our room had a little entry room where our child could sleep undisturbed while we watched TV. I did wish there had been a bit more service and a chance to chat, especially with no other guests around. Dinner was a letdown: the pancakes were hard and didn't seem freshly cooked, and the onions with the fried potatoes were burnt. It was okay for a few days, all told.

Breakfast was tasty and had everything you could want, though it took a couple of hours for everyone to wake up. We were there with a group a few days ago, and even with just two of us arriving late, the food came out fresh, hot, and delicious. The rooms had good equipment; the bathroom was a little small, but clean and had everything we needed. The service was good and really friendly. On Saturday evening we were sent to the bowling alley in the building, which we ended up enjoying 😉. Probably down to staff shortages 🤷‍♂️. All in all, perfect. Thanks!

We had such a good meal that the whole group is planning to return next year. Everyone got what they wanted, including special requests, and the bill was right even with the usual chaos from our group. The waitress kept track of everything for all 14 of us, wherever we were seated. It's a very clean, family-run restaurant with friendly service. We came back again, and everything was perfect.

We'd heard good things and wanted to have dinner at this restaurant while spending a short vacation in Neuhausen. On January 23, 2025, we went there in the evening but found the door locked. A sign said it would reopen on January 24 because of renovations. We tried again on January 25, but at 5:00 p.m. the door was locked once more, and there was no information about the opening hours anywhere. Very disappointing!
