Start with the people behind the food: the kitchen team at Le Temple doesn’t come out front to collect praise, so make the effort to thank them. This family-run place is worth the trip, even if it seems far out of the way. Stay somewhere simple that suits the meal, then settle into a comfortable bed afterwards and you’ll still be thinking, “Wow.” The seven courses, including the Amuse-Gueule, show incredible care: precise technique, lovely balance, and beautiful plating, all served graciously. The son chooses the wine to match his parents’ cooking, and the pairings are spot on. Nothing feels showy or pretentious, just honest perfection. There are plenty of starred places in the cities; head out to the countryside for this experience. It leaves you with a meal you won’t regret, and the sense that Le Temple deserves every one of its three stars.

The food alone makes this an unforgettable night, every dish feels like its own little masterpiece and the whole meal is a real event. The servers are attentive without hovering, and I couldn’t fault them. The restaurant itself is contemporary and beautiful. We’ll be back. If you’re nearby, don’t miss this hidden gem. It’s absolutely worth its Michelin star, and I can’t praise it enough.

We’ve been coming for years and the menus keep feeling fresh, with plenty of variety and consistently excellent quality. Le Temple really is a paradise for anyone who loves good food. The people cooking here are incredibly friendly, and the service is just as good, all in a refined setting.
