Gasthof - Pension Schamberger

Our group of nine spent the weekend here and thoroughly enjoyed it. The hosts were very friendly, and we'd be glad to come back. Breakfast had everything we could want. The rooms are a little dated but very clean, with a large fridge and a balcony with a beautiful view. There's also a big shared room with a kitchen, and it has everything you need. Thank you so much! 😀

We needed a big house for about 20 people for our annual family weekend, something we've been doing for over 30 years, and this place fit the bill. There's a large lawn beside the house with a lovely view, great for football, barbecues, and eating together. Inside, we found plenty of double and multi-bed rooms, each with a shower and toilet, plus a spacious kitchen and a large shared room. The furnishings are a bit dated, but everything was very clean. We felt comfortable and had a great time together. Thanks so much!

We spent Easter 2025 at the Schamberger family's place and had a lovely stay. The large property has a children's playground, ping-pong table, and a fire pit with firewood provided. We enjoyed using it in the spring-like weather. There's plenty of parking, even in front of the shooting range if needed. Our family room had six beds, lots of space, and a fantastic balcony view of Hohenbogen. The beds were very comfortable, and the room had a fridge and plenty of power outlets with power strips. The Schamberger family were incredibly friendly, especially Mr. Schamberger, who was always up for a chat. Breakfast was excellent, with everything you could want, and we were pleasantly surprised by a small Easter gift. The decor is a little dated, but clean and charmingly rustic. There's a kitchen on the ground floor for cooking, plus a shared room where you can eat food you've ordered. Downstairs there's also an inexpensive refrigerated vending machine stocked with wine, beer, water, soft drinks, and cola. We'd love to come back if we're in the area again.

We spent eight wonderful days at Pension Schamberger and will definitely return. It's a peaceful place surrounded by beautiful nature, and a great base for all kinds of activities. The owners are very friendly and accommodating, happy to answer questions and share information about things to do. Breakfast is delicious and exceptionally plentiful. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for peace and quiet. Manfred and Cornelia
