Stadthotel Neumarkt Mitte

A lovely town and a perfect stop on our road trip. The reception staff were super helpful and friendly, the rooms immaculate, and there was safe parking for our camper in the car park opposite the hotel.

We hadn’t planned to stay in this small town, but the messe in Nurnberg meant we couldn’t find a room there or in the surrounding towns, so we ended up here by chance. We really liked the town’s atmosphere and the warmth of the hotel. Mrs. Martina at reception gave us a very warm welcome and some great restaurant recommendations. From outside it looks small, but there are lots of rooms and the hotel is quite spacious. Our room was large, airy, and very clean, and the toilet and bathroom were functional. I did have two problems: the bed was so soft that I nearly sank into it and found it uncomfortable, and the heating wasn’t enough for the cold German weather. I had to pile two blankets on top of each other to stay warm. Breakfast was varied and delicious, especially the small round omelets. Parking right across from the hotel cost 8 EUR per night and was very convenient. I’d love to stay here again if we’re in the area.

The breakfast was a wonderful surprise, with excellent quality and lots of choices. Staff were attentive and pleasant without hovering. The location is hard to beat, and parking is right across the road. The rooms are small, but the space is used brilliantly. The bed is extremely comfortable, and the rain shower has great pressure. Having outlets beside both sides of the bed was really helpful, too. We’ve found a new place to stay in NKt.

It felt more like staying in a home than a hotel, and the place is very new and really nice. The staff were friendly and ready to help with anything they could, and we had no problems during our stay. It’s an easy 7-10 minute walk to the train station, then about 30 minutes by train to Nuremberg. One of the nicest hotels I’ve stayed in, hands down. Highly recommended.
