Loved staying here for a few nights. It looked even better in person than in the photos. The place was clean and quiet, and the staff were really kind and thoughtful.

The guesthouse was cozy and beautifully furnished, and we all enjoyed our few days there with the children and grandchildren. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty, and the food at Elwetritsche Stubb was excellent. We'd happily return and highly recommend it.

We stopped by beforehand with around 30 hikers for an evening get-together. Even with the place busy, the service was friendly and excellent, and the whole thing went smoothly. "Ellwetritsche Stubb" at the Hellmer Winery is a cozy wine tavern set neatly into the old courtyard passage, with lovely seating in the courtyard and garden, including some covered or tented spots. The food was delicious, with fun ideas like crispy fried pike-perch over black pudding risotto and sweet potato mash with sauerkraut. Their own vineyard wines have a great range across the main grape varieties, are very well made, and are excellent value. Highly recommended, we'll be back.

The only snag was that keys can only be collected until 6 PM. Otherwise everything was excellent. I had to leave early each day and never managed breakfast, but they refunded me for it. I'd gladly stay again.

This was our second stay at Hellmer's, and we felt completely at ease again. The room was clean and nicely laid out, the welcome was super friendly, and breakfast was superb with everything we could want. Great value for money, thumbs up.
