The sea view from the terrace and panoramic window was the highlight for us, and the south-facing terrace was still lovely for sitting in the sun when the weather wasn’t quite summery. Later, we could wrap up in the warm blankets outside and keep enjoying the view. We also appreciated that the apartment has elevator access. We chose the “Penthouse Ostseepanorama” in Pelzerhaken after a long search, and it turned out to be exactly right. The host gave us a warm, personal welcome, and the apartment was bright, spotless, thoughtfully decorated, tastefully furnished, and equipped with everything we needed. We felt at home straight away. There was plenty to explore nearby, so our 11 days were full and never boring. We had a fantastic stay. For us, it was the best vacation apartment we’ve ever stayed in. The view is about as good as it gets, and the place is right in the center. The beach chair is only around a 45-second walk away. There’s covered parking too, and the facilities are top-notch.

The sea is close and the location is good. The parking spaces are tight, though, and for the price I’d expect better dishes, especially the glasses.

The view is nice, but that alone doesn’t make up for everything. There’s no proper full kitchen, just enough to manage breakfast, and the pizzeria smells are bothersome. For those reasons, the price for what you get doesn’t feel right.
