Breakfast had plenty of choice and was very good, and our room came with a sea view and a large balcony, which we still appreciated even in winter. The hotel also has a nice indoor pool, restaurant and bar, and there was live music during our stay. Its spot by the sea is handy, with about a 20-minute walk from the train station. We had a mixed experience at dinner. The food was mostly good, and my veal was great, though my wife's fish didn't look as well presented as the other dishes. Service was poor: on the three-course menu they brought dessert before the main course, and the language barrier with some staff made it awkward. Someone also tried to take my wife's plate while she was still eating. Our room was directly above the busy restaurant kitchen. The sound insulation was very good, but we still heard an unpleasant amount of impact noise.

We had a really relaxed stay at this lovely resort by the water. The staff were very nice, and the rooms were clean. Breakfast and the in-house restaurants were very good, and the spa was great too. You can rent bikes, Hansa-park is close by, and the whole place has a laid-back feel. We really enjoyed it.

The spa and pool were glorious, and the hotel was spotless, with stylish rooms and great service. It's in a beautiful location and breakfast was excellent. Dinner in the evening felt underwhelming for what it cost, and service was slow. There are plenty of other restaurants nearby, though.

The room was fantastic, and the spa and pool area were just as lovely. It was quiet, with beautiful views, tasty drinks, a nice breakfast, and live music on Saturday night. I enjoyed every minute of this retreat. Definitely a good place to recharge.

The spa was neat and calming, and the garden and beach were both lovely. Breakfast was great, though a few more staff would help keep tables ready and replenish things. We had to change our first room because it smelled strongly and unpleasantly of men's deodorant. The receptionist sorted it out straight away, without any argument, and the next room was perfect. Pier 19 was nice for dinner, but I missed having a cute café or gelato stand within walking distance. We'll come again.
