10/10
The restaurant had a really good range of food and drinks, and the service was great. The chef and staff deserve a cheer. Our room was clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated, and everyone went out of their way to make the stay enjoyable. I also felt safe and secure throughout the hotel, which is something I’ll always appreciate.

We especially liked the beer bath, and the candlelit dinner was a highlight too. It was a very good four-course meal, served at just the right pace by friendly, accommodating staff. The spa and wellness area was lovely, with excellent service there as well. Our room was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a short visit. Everyone at the hotel was genuinely helpful and nice. A great little place to get away, unwind, and enjoy a spa or a good dinner.

The restaurant team were kind and listened to our requests, even with the children with us. The rest of the stay became a very different story: management criticized our parenting and took a moralizing attitude toward our behavior. We ended up having to cut the trip short. The hospitality may look fine at first, but our experience made those claims feel false. We also sensed racist undertones, so I wouldn’t recommend the place to international visitors. We won’t be coming back.

8/10
It’s a nice place, but very quiet, with not much going on. Finding somewhere to eat nearby was even difficult. Breakfast is quite basic and doesn’t cater to vegans, and the rooms feel a little old-fashioned.

The staff were kind and organized, and the price through Expedia seemed fair. It’s a convenient place to stay if you’re visiting the surrounding area. Our booking included free Wi-Fi, but it didn’t work, even after getting the free access PIN from reception.
