Hotel Drei Schweizer

The location is the only good thing about this hotel. They don't include breakfast, and they won't take American Express. I really wouldn't recommend it.

The place is run-down, and the rooms have only the most basic amenities, with none of them even working. There's no parking, and the rooms aren't cleaned during the day. Mine had bare dangling lightbulbs, leaky windows, peeling wallpaper, and dirt left by the previous guest. The windows aren't soundproof as advertised, so it's extremely noisy inside. For this price, there are a thousand much better hotels to choose from without even looking. Not even worth a one-night stay. Never again!!!

The photos are badly out of date. When we arrived, reception was empty and we had to call. The person who eventually greeted us seemed pretty unmotivated. Old, dirty bedding was left in the hallway to the rooms, the floors were uneven, and the entrance on the side looked shabby. The terrace was messy and littered. Our room was fairly large and reasonably clean, and the bathroom looked fairly clean too. There was soap and two towels per person, but the mattresses definitely needed replacing. Since the room was on the top floor and had no AC, it was unpleasant in 36°C heat. At about 4 a.m., some drunk, uncivilized people started making a disturbance, with a bar or disco nearby. We'd booked breakfast, but the owner canceled it the night before. I wouldn't recommend the place, except maybe as a last resort if nothing else is available.

The owner was the best part, a very pleasant fellow. We were happy to be your guests, so keep up the good work! The hotel is very affordable and in a prime location. Our room was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the breakfast was adequate. For a one-night stay, clean is the most important thing.
