Hotel Haus Mühlbach

The hosts were friendly and responsive, and took care of all our requests. Our room was clean and comfortable, recently refurbished, and had a coffee machine and a safe. I liked the design, which brings old and new together. We enjoyed our stay here, with breakfast and dinner at the cozy restaurant. Everything was delicious and felt high quality. The vegan dishes were especially well prepared and filling, which really surprised me. We’d be happy to visit again and recommend it to everyone.

The bed was the one real downside for me. It was very uncomfortable and left me with some back pain. Everything else was up and running, even though the area had been hit by floods very recently. The train through the village ran like clockwork, and most hiking trails had already been repaired. A few still had fallen trees or flooded paths, but it was easy enough to detour or find another route. The staff were amazing, very friendly, and did all they could to help. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful, and well worth the money. After a hike, the terrace was a lovely place for a drink. Even when it was busy, getting a reservation as a hotel guest was easy.

The food was very, very tasty, and we’d love to come back to this restaurant. The staff were so polite and welcoming. If you’re in the area, don’t miss the delicious dishes here. Highly recommended!

Really tasty food and a nice atmosphere. The special ice cream gets an extra point.
