A very peaceful and beautiful rural stay, with comfortable, clean rooms and lots of attention to detail. The owners were kind and respectful, and the service was some of the friendliest we’ve had in a while. Breakfast was great too. I’d recommend it 100% for solo travellers, couples, or business stays.

Zur Ewigen Lampe is ideally located, just a five-minute walk from Nideggen Castle. Our stay in Room #4 was excellent. It was beautiful, remarkably spacious, and spotlessly clean. We also appreciated the complimentary parking and the free bottle of water in the room. June 2025

They were very helpful and let us store our bikes in the basement. Breakfast was plentiful, and they even let us use the leftovers to make sandwiches for the rest of our cycle. Excellent value for money. Would recommend.

It’s a really cosy, romantic little place in a charming old house, with lots of wood and original decorations. It’s family-run, and although there’s no elevator, the staff were very helpful. The food was really good, even if it wasn’t gourmet level, and they even let us take our dessert to our room. All in all, I’d recommend it for a romantic getaway.

A wonderful, cosy hotel where the staff made us feel right at home, and the food was delicious. At breakfast they noticed I wasn’t eating the rolls because I’m gluten-free, then came running with some fruit to make sure I’d eaten enough. Would recommend!
