Hotel Insel Pension

The station is just a two-minute walk away, with cafes and large supermarkets nearby. The hotel is also well placed for Niebüll Center. Rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the crisp air helped me sleep well. Breakfast each day was tasty and generous. Really, this feels like a 4 star hotel.

I haven't even checked out yet and I'm already looking forward to coming back. The staff are kind and helpful, and breakfast is lovely, with coffee and tea brought to the table and eggs made how you like them. We also hired their small electric car for the day, which cost about 40-50 euro. Our room on the second floor was lovely and spacious, with a fridge, kettle, desk, and TV. The beds were very comfortable, neither too hard nor too soft. Everything in the house and room was flawless. There's no elevator. The hotel is near the train station, and there's parking on site if you arrive by car.

The train noise was hard to ignore, and the hotel felt cold and old. I arrived at 20:30 expecting to spend some time in the sauna and spa, but was told at check-in that they were closed. They said I could go the next morning if I gave the receptionist 30 minutes' notice, but when I asked then, I was told it wasn't possible. I'd choose a different hotel.

They have a Tesla destination charger but won't let Teslas use it, even though it isn't in use and their own electric car can't use it either. They block the space too. You're not welcome here!
