Gasthaus Traube Niederfell

The price for the room and breakfast felt very fair, and we'd definitely stay again. The rooms were cleaner and more modern than I expected, with everything we needed despite not being especially large. The bathroom had good space and a big shower. We enjoyed both dinner and breakfast, and everyone was friendly. They also had somewhere for our bikes.

The children were happy with the homemade dishes, and they soon found the games as well as the guinea pigs and quail outside. That gave us a chance to stay up a little longer. Everyone was very friendly, and we got a warm welcome before being shown to the family room at the very top of the hotel. We arrived late on our long drive from the Austrian Tirol to Holland, on our way back to Scotland, but still made it in time for dinner. The food and wine were delicious, freshly cooked, and nicely presented. The room was spotless, comfortable, and really spacious. It was a great find after such a long journey, with top food and such friendly service. The hotel sits beside the Mosel and has a nice view. I’m sure the area would be worth exploring if we’d had more time. Thank you!

So glad we came across this place! Toby, our waiter, was the best, and the staff took such good care of us. The food was fabulous, and our room was clean and comfortable. I’d recommend it to anyone.

Breakfast is served at your table rather than from a buffet, and the staff checked in regularly to see if we needed anything. The staff are friendly and do their best for you, and the food really is good. Our room was clean and spacious, though the bathroom was a little small and had no soap dispenser. The beds were quite hard but still comfortable. There’s a terrace to sit on, and you can walk up into the hills if you want some exercise. I’d stay here again if I’m in the area.
