The vegetables tasted a little bitter to me, and I couldn’t say why, which is why I took off a star. Even so, my son and I had a very good dinner and will certainly come again. We’d booked a table ahead as the restaurant kindly asks, and the friendly staff welcomed us warmly and showed us to it. Bread with a tasty cream dip kept us going while we waited, and the food arrived quickly. The dish seemed very good overall, and the East Frisian atmosphere was lovely.

I stayed here on business and found the hotel clean, friendly, and well kept. The rooms were meticulously cleaned each morning. The manager was very accommodating, arranging breakfast and coffee for a time that suited us. We’d had a car accident before arriving and needed a few cabs, and the manager was more than happy to help us with the language barrier. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the hotel.
