Mienhus Apartments Ferienwohnung Palle

The reviews had made us a bit nervous about booking the “Fiete” holiday apartment, but we ended up loving it. It was bright, spotless, and had everything we needed. Booking and check-in went smoothly, and we felt so comfortable there. A wonderfully relaxing stay, and we'd gladly return. Thanks so much!

We left our Christmas holiday early because the noise upstairs became unbearable. After the second day, a family of five and two large dogs moved into the apartment above us. It sounded like a football team, with noise from morning until late at night, and the walls were incredibly thin. If you want peace and quiet, this isn't the place. We had booked the Jantje apartment to get away from holiday stress, but there was another problem from the moment we arrived: a strong musty smell that we eventually traced to the bathroom. The apartment wasn't clean either. There was dirt, cobwebs, dead and live flies, and black hair, with tiny black flies everywhere. They turned out to be drain flies, which was extremely disgusting. Management gave us a bottle of drain cleaner without inspecting the dead flies or checking the sewage smell. The young woman herself was disgusted by it. The treatment helped for only a few hours. The smell remained, though most of the flies were gone. Never again.

We stayed two nights in the Beeke holiday apartment with our child. There was dog hair all over the bedroom bed, living room floor and coffee table, so my wife and I vacuumed the whole apartment ourselves, including the bed. It smelled unpleasant when we arrived and we had to air the place out completely. It seemed like it hadn't been cleaned before we got there. After seeing that other guests had also been unhappy, we won't book through this provider again.

The apartment was clean, comfortable and central, only steps from the beach. Shops were about a 10-minute walk away, and we cycled to Norden in 10 minutes. There are lots of tempting restaurants there, though we didn't have time to try them. The hosts were warm and friendly, and we felt at home straight away. Booking was easy and everything went as expected. The extra details in the ihr-nordseeurlaub app were helpful too. We had a fantastic holiday in Norddeich and would love to return. Highly recommend ihr-nordseeurlaub, and thanks for a great time. See you soon!
