Never again at Hotel Paula. Check-in was a disaster: staff rudely threatened to throw us out if our bowling club “didn't behave.” That's a terrible welcome. The rooms are tiny, and the bathroom is even smaller. On two of our three days, there was only cold water for showers. If you want friendly service, this isn't the place, and I definitely wouldn't recommend it for party groups. 1/5 stars.

The price for what you get is excellent. Staff are very friendly with both people and dogs, and the beach is just 150 meters away. Restaurants and shops are close by too. I'd definitely recommend this hotel.

It's easy to unwind here, with the village center and beach just steps away. Hotel Paula on Norderney is a little gem, with cozy, beautifully furnished rooms. The owners are friendly and make you feel welcome as soon as you arrive.

We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay with our two dogs. Hotel Paula has a warm, family feel, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The location is central, breakfast was fresh and delicious, and service was attentive and friendly. A great spot for a relaxing island break. We'd love to return!

We had a great weekend there a week ago. The single room was modern but small, and the bathroom had what you need, though it may not work well for larger people. Breakfast was the one letdown for me: the selection was standard, and at €20 per day it was very expensive.
