The apartment is spacious, very clean, and on the ground floor with a terrace. It's right near the center and beach, so you don't need a car on the island. The ferry terminal is about a 2 km walk away. This is a great spot if you want to be in the middle of things, but not if you're after peace and quiet, at least on the ground floor. The first impression was a shame: checking in at the neighboring hotel meant walking through clouds of guests' smoke gathered by the entrance. The washing machine, apparently in the basement, runs from 7:30 am to 11 pm, and the noise carries into the apartment, deafeningly loud. In the mornings, staff push laundry carts through the hall to the dryer. It sounds as if the Intercity train to Norddeich Mole is going right through the room. The shed or drying room is directly beside the two terraces, so you feel on display. Half the terrace is nicely paved, but the rest is sandy and covered in construction debris. The gardener needs to come back, especially at the prices they charge for this chamber.

The apartment was modern and very clean, and we particularly liked the thoughtful layout. Having a separate children's room was a real plus for us. The beach is only a short walk away, and shops, a bakery, and a pharmacy are all easy to reach on foot. We had a wonderful stay and would recommend it.

We were comfortable in the modern, bright Nordquartier apartment from the moment we arrived. It was clean, nicely furnished, and well equipped, with the beach and town center close by, handy for catching a beautiful sunset in the evening. Right next door, the Hotel Jann von Norderney had an extensive breakfast buffet that we especially enjoyed. There was lots to choose from, including fresh fruit, delicious baked goods, and plenty of extras, well above the usual standard. Our on-site contact was friendly and easy to deal with. We'd love to come back for another break on Norderney.

Our small apartment was beside the entrance, which is usually left open, with low windows facing the sidewalk. Every morning at 6:30, the building's resident construction crew gathered right outside our window, loudly greeting each other before climbing into the construction vehicles parked there. When we arrived, the room wasn't heated, and it took a while to warm up. The extra blanket had dog hair on it, but reception promptly replaced it. The safe didn't work at first, but it was repaired the next day. The complex is in an ideal location. The lady at the neighboring hotel was very friendly and helpful, and the rolls from the hotel kiosk were delicious.

That private terrace was the highlight for us, with plenty of room for relaxed breakfasts and evenings over a glass of wine. It gave the apartment a special holiday feel. The place was modern, nicely furnished to a high standard, and thoughtfully laid out. Everything was spotless, and communication with the hosts was warm and easy. We also loved the peaceful surroundings and closeness to nature. A dream stay at Nordquartier, and we'll definitely be back. A great tip for anyone looking for comfort and a chance to unwind.
