Villa Westend

The sea is just around the corner, and everything else is easy to reach. The house itself is peaceful, with no hint of hustle and bustle, and the breakfast is delicious. My room was so cozy and comfortable, and everything was spotless and well cared for. It’s a lovely holiday home, run with real affection, and you feel welcome as soon as you arrive. I have to come back now and then. A little piece of my soul stays here every time.

This was my fourth time staying at Villa Westend, and we’d gladly come back again. I’ve been visiting Norderney for over 50 years and have met plenty of friendly hosts along the way. The location is hard to beat, with the beach promenade and Milchbar (milk bar) in sight. The owners bring a personal touch to the villa’s historic architecture, and everything feels thoughtfully arranged, spotless, and welcoming. A lovely place to unwind.

The charming decor, the breakfast, and the spotless rooms all made a great impression. The staff were exceptionally friendly, too. I can’t think of a single thing to criticize. I felt more welcome here than I have in almost any other accommodation, and enjoyed my stay at Villa Westend from start to finish. I’ll definitely recommend it, and I’d love to return.

I found a new home on my island, and leaving on August 19th was harder than it usually is after all these years. The guesthouse, its owner, and the kitchen staff made those beautiful days so special with their care and dedication. I’ve never stayed anywhere else where everything felt so right.
