The rooms in the new building are modern and very clean, though there's no lift. There's a Tesla destination charger right below the rooms, but driving backward into the tight space is tricky. We ate at the hotel's restaurant and the food was very good, with local wines on offer.

The food was hearty in the way I expect German food to be, and there were loads of great typical German dishes to choose from. I really enjoyed my time here. The place has a lovely atmosphere and is right in the middle of the city, so I’d definitely recommend it.

The food was great, and the accommodation was affordable. Coming from the direction of Würzburg, you’ll need to take the little ferry. That was a great experience.

I’d heard good things and expected more, but it didn’t feel like anything special. Weininsel, my favourite restaurant in the village, was closed, so I ended up coming here. Weininsel is much nicer.
