The quiet location was about the only positive. The apartment seems to have had no updates in 10 to 15 years: there were no wardrobes, the kitchen lacked dishes and cutlery, Wi-Fi and phone reception were poor, and the toilet kept running with no way to stop it. Cleaning was sloppy, and the washing machine, apparently an 80s model, didn't work. When I raised it, I was told, "Yes, it's been broken for ages, and what's the point anyway? There's plenty of crockery here, nobody else cooks." I couldn't sleep because hundreds of mosquitoes had settled on the walls, or because the pillow felt like a sack of cement molded to my head.

The price was right, and we'd definitely return. We were quite satisfied overall. Our room was small, but we had a lounge and a bigger balcony. The bathroom was across the way and reserved just for us, which was fine for a one-night stay.

The host was friendly and helped us with the kitchen. The place was clean, and the huge terrace was great for relaxing. Highly recommend!
