The food was the part I loved most. The setting felt even more spectacular on my second visit, and Thomas was just as friendly and welcoming as before.

We loved every minute of our stay and are already planning to come back. The garden is lovely, and the place feels cozy and spotless. The hosts were great, and the food was exquisite, made with fresh ingredients from their own garden. Thank you, Thomas and Andrew, for everything!

The balcony view is spectacular enough to make a vacation on its own. I also found the place comfortable, and the hosts were helpful in both German and English, which made me feel at ease. And the food was excellent.

After two days, I felt completely looked after and relaxed. Thomas & Andrew provide attentive service, with a delicious breakfast and culinary highlights like the four-course menu. It’s a wonderful private retreat deep in the Black Forest, yet easy to reach by car.

Well worth a visit for afternoon tea in the beautiful English gardens. The food, prepared by the Chef/Owner, was delicious. The property is also a Guesthouse.
