The staff were warm and friendly, the beds were relaxing, and the rooms were comfortable and big. Breakfast was good, better than I expected. The hotel is right in the heart of the aldstad, just a one-minute walk from Albercht Durer house and about 45 seconds from Fraunkirche. My only suggestion would be to add small fridges to the rooms.

We arrived about four hours before check-in, and the friendly employees still accommodated us. We absolutely loved the hotel, and if we come back to Nuremberg, we'll stay here again.

The breakfast buffet had a big selection of German and American options, more than we expected. Everyone we dealt with, from the front office to the kitchen and housekeeping, was pleasant, professional, and helpful. We picked the hotel for the Christmas markets, which are less than a five-minute walk away. It's far enough from them to be peaceful and quiet in the evening. I'd highly recommend it for a stay in Nuremburg!

We've been back three times since 2015, which says a lot. The rooms are a little snug, but they're well appointed and the Wi-Fi is good. Breakfast staff are friendly and attentive. Best of all, you're right in the old town near the churches, market, and restaurants. We were there during Nuremberg's harvest fest, a smaller-scale version of Oktoberfest.

The Christmas markets are easy to reach from here, and the water pressure was great. Breakfast was acceptable, especially the very good cakes. A hard bed and pillows as thin as paper were less welcome. If you need to open the windows, fried food smells from the markets can come in.
