For about €30 a night on a January weekend, without breakfast, this was fantastic value. From the old town, I walked back in under half an hour, and there are a couple of 24-hour garages nearby for picking up supplies. A taxi to or from the airport seemed to cost about €12. The staff I spoke with were friendly and efficient, though I didn't interact with them much. There are some drawbacks: the decor feels dated, there's no air conditioning, and my room window opened onto a shared fire escape. It was January, so the lack of AC didn't matter, but in summer I might not want to leave that window open in this busy area. As a solo traveler, I had only one pillow and no spare in the room, even though I should have said there were two guests. The shower also changed from hot to cold rather quickly. At the price I paid, I can't help recommending it. At twice the price, I'd think harder about those issues.

For the price, it was a good stay. The first room I was given had a really strong smell, but the staff were friendly and moved me to another room straight away. Some rooms look like they've been renovated recently, while others still have older carpet and decor. Despite the name, it's not in the "centro." The tram stops are very close, though, and it's quick to get to the town center.

The reception team were really friendly, and it was only a five-minute walk to the station or bus. The hotel was super clean, and we really enjoyed our stay. Highly recommended.

The hotel is spotless, with nice, clean rooms and cleanliness everywhere. Breakfast was good and tasty, and 5 o'clock tea was included in the price. It deserves the money. There's an Edeka hypermarket, a tram stop, and a gas supermarket next to the hotel. The Romanian supermarket nearby is also highly recommended. Getting to the old town by tram is very easy and convenient, and it's only 2 km away.

The only trouble I had was in hot summer weather. The room can get very hot, and although there's a fan, it's loud. The window faces a busy road, so you'll need to put up with either the heat or the noise. Hearing protection might help on those hot days, if you can wear it. The room itself was clean and comfortable, the elevator was available, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout. Public transport is within a reasonable walking distance.
