Cornelia was a lovely, helpful host, and we hope we can return soon. We spent four nights here last August in a beautiful, super-clean apartment. There’s free parking and a very comfortable garden, right in the middle of town.

Right in the heart of Oberammergau, this place is cozy, quiet, and clean, with caring owners. The apartment feels like a lovely fairy tale, really nice and soulful. Everything has been thought through, from the kitchen dishes to the little couch pillows. It has all you need for a comfortable stay: washing machine, dryer, microwave, coffee maker, and stove. Parking is convenient if you’re driving, and if you need the bus, the stop is right at the house. There’s a pharmacy nearby and lots of tasty cafes.

The garden has an amazing view of Kofel mountain, and all guests can enjoy it any time of day. The hosts have four different apartments in two outstanding historic buildings: Sonnengelb and Himmelblau, named for their yellow and blue color themes, plus two two-floor maisonettes with two bedrooms each, one queen-size bed and one bunk bed. The furnishings feel lovingly and imaginatively done. The apartments have small kitchens with a microwave and oven function, free WiFi, and double beds with two separate mattresses. Shampoo and shower gel are provided in the apartment's color. The washing machine and dryer are shared with the other guests.

The location really won us over, as did the very friendly service from Mrs. Cornelia. My wife and I came for the first time this year, and we’ve already booked for next year. We wholeheartedly recommend this place.
