The only good thing was being close to Playmobil Park. The online pictures are misleading, and the room felt like a former child's bedroom: rather bare, with old 80s-style beds, no TV, just an old armchair and an IKEA shelf. You can't get directly into the bathroom, and its door only locks from the inside, not permanently. The hostess was very particular. Before we could even arrive, we had to swap our street shoes for flip-flops. She explained the shower in great detail, along with how to open the windows and curtains, which were held up with clothespins. So, no, I can't recommend booking this place. I seriously doubt the honesty of the other reviews!

On arrival we were given a plate of fruit and coffee, and there was water and other drinks available too. We spent two nights in two rooms on the top floor. The hostess explained everything, including where to find things and when they were available. Highly recommended.

At €149 per night, this was totally overpriced, with unacceptable value for money. The furnishings were spartan, lamps dangled from ceiling cables, and the walls were dirty and scratched. The rooms were extremely noisy, and the bathroom and toilet were in the hallway.

The landlady is constantly hovering around you, and there’s an indistinct smell, probably meant to serve a hygiene purpose. Shoes even have to come off behind the front door, though hygiene itself is sufficient. The place seems full of good intentions, but it lacks a technical touch: many things don’t work quite right, rattle, creak, or aren’t assembled properly.
