We stayed in apartment 3, which was spacious and friendly, and didn't cost much. It had a fridge, a small electric stove, a filter coffee maker, a kettle, and a toaster. There was good parking too.

The location was wonderful, across from a cute park and just a short walk to a stunning open field with a view to the north. The place was super friendly, clean, and modern.

The location is lovely and quiet, with meadows and forest right next door. Our dogs, Benni and Tobi, were welcome and had shelter, which we especially appreciated. The host is friendly and down to earth, and happy to chat about anything. Rooms are clean, breakfast is generous, and the coffee is good!! A fun extra: every Wednesday at 6 pm, the butcher across the street grills "the best Thuringian bratwurst"!! A solid place to stay while hiking. Everyone should visit Gehlberg, Thuringia is always worth a trip.

The breakfast was very meager, and the price just isn't worth it. We left early because the rooms were so dirty, with dust and cobwebs everywhere. The bedding smelled bad too, and the sofa bed didn't even have a proper sheet. Completely unacceptable, I wouldn't give the place one star…

We were very satisfied after our two-night stay. Breakfast in the spotless breakfast room was plentiful, with rolls, jam, honey, butter, cold cuts, cheese, eggs, juice, coffee, tea, and fruit, all topped up regularly. Our apartment was upstairs on the first floor, reached by stairs. It had a double bed, table, two chairs, a two-person sofa, TV, Wi-Fi, wardrobe, small kitchen, and a fridge with a freezer compartment. The bathroom had a window and shower. The only thing missing was a shelf in the shower for shampoo and shower gel.
