The rooms were clean and a good size, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The food tasted good too. There was no salad bar, but after we asked, they let us order a salad even though we'd booked half-board. Our massage was good, and the hotel does have a sauna, steam room, and pool, as advertised on Kurzurlaub.de for our four-day stay. What we hadn't realized was that guests in the apartments and holiday homes also use the pool. It was always full of children with toys and pool noodles, and the steam room was out of order throughout our stay, which was a real shame. The bar also closes at 10 pm. It's a nice hotel, but in my opinion, not a good wellness choice for couples.

It was really quiet, and the staff were incredibly nice, especially at dinner 😉. The rooms were spacious, clean, in good condition, and had balconies. The pool is small but adequate, and we also liked the little sauna area. I'd highly recommend it.

The room was very warm, and it had everything you need. It's cozy and quiet in a beautiful location. We'd love to come back, though the cleanliness only gets three stars.

The staff were friendly and helpful throughout, and I appreciated the vegan options on the menu, which were rather rare in the surrounding area. There's also bread delivery for apartments, a wallbox for electric vehicles, a free shuttle, a small pool, and a small external massage service. The hotel is child and dog friendly, so there are lots of children and dogs. The complex and rooms are 20-30 years old, and it shows. The shower-tub combinations look like they're from the 90s, the dishwashers are incredibly loud, there was a 2cm layer of dust on the bathroom exhaust filter, and the internet speed feels like the 90s too. The beds aren't for late sleepers 😖. All in all, it was okay, nothing more. It could use some modernization and a fresh look, but if you're mainly there to hike and don't mind dated amenities, it's a good place to stay.
