Gästehaus Tanne des DGD e.V.

You can use the spacious swimming pool and join tours of the wonderful main building. The breakfast is fabulous and has everything you could want. The rooms are simply furnished, but very, very clean, and the beds are comfortable. It feels heavenly here, and the warmth and friendliness are rare.

We only stayed two nights, but felt very comfortable. The breakfast is basic but enough, and the rooms are practical and spotlessly clean.

We’re especially thankful to the staff for letting us hold our worship service in the large hall. It was a real spiritual gift to us, and we’d love to come back for blessed fellowship with our brothers. Our group of 35 men from the Bremen Evangelical Free Church had a thoroughly enjoyable stay at this retreat center. The countryside around it is beautiful, the grounds are very well kept, and the rooms were in good condition. There was plenty of breakfast, and it was delicious.

The grounds are large, park-like, idyllic, and very well maintained, and the staff are friendly. Rooms are plain but very clean and a good size, and the price feels fair. They aren’t cleaned during your stay, as the information folder in the room explains, though you can arrange cleaning if needed. Breakfast was perfectly adequate, with all the things you’d expect from a good breakfast. I’d recommend it to anyone who doesn’t need a luxury hotel. We’ll gladly return.
