Pension Kristall

The owner gave us great, attentive service and was very helpful. We were pleasantly surprised and would definitely return. I booked the guesthouse for a company event paired with a hike in the Harz Mountains. The rooms matched the photos, were clean, and were perfectly adequate.

We felt welcome and comfortable throughout our three nights at Pension Kristall, and everything was clean and tidy. My friend and I had come for a short hiking trip, and the service really stood out. When we got back hungry from our so-called relaxing hike just before dark, two pizzas were waiting for us. The staff had even tried to call to check we were okay. That was such a thoughtful gesture, and we're grateful. The guesthouse is a little dated, but the new owners are clearly working to bring it back to life and care about guests' comfort. It has what you need for a pleasant stay. The cleanliness also made a real difference to us. The great service, the owners' efforts, and the tidy rooms made the trip memorable. We highly recommend Pension Kristall and will return when we're in the area. Many thanks to the whole team for making us feel so welcome!

Thanks for the beer! The breakfast was good and plentiful, and the young people running this sweet little guesthouse were friendly and accommodating. We'd be glad to come back.

We felt right at home in this cozy, clean place. The breakfast was generous and had lots to choose from. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily return. Five stars from us :)
