We came without a reservation and were warmly welcomed as bikers. The owner rides a motorcycle too, and the café has a great atmosphere. It’s beautifully decorated, with everything you’d expect in a castle, and some of the items are for sale. There’s a lovely range of delicious homemade cakes, plus a friendly word for every guest. We also heard a lot about the castle’s history. You can tell the family has put a lot of work and heart into the place. We’ll definitely be back.
