Villa Viriditas

The warm welcome from Britta and Clemens made me feel at home as soon as I arrived for the sweat lodge ritual at Villa Viriditas seminar center in early January 2026. The house is beautifully furnished and has a calm, peaceful feel, a harmonious place where I could unwind and find inner peace. The original seminar leader had to cancel because of illness. Britta and Clemens stepped in right away to lead the first day with singing, meditation and a vegetarian dinner together, which felt calm, supportive and just right. The shaman led the sweat lodge itself. It was intense and unique, an experience you have to have for yourself because it’s hard to describe. I highly recommend it. The weekend was made complete by talking and spending time with Britta and Clemens. Even with organizing, cooking, leading seminars and managing family life, they were always ready to listen and fully present. I felt very comfortable and would love to return. PS: If you’re after an adventure, book the caravan. It’s especially cozy in winter, with a little fireplace you light yourself. 🔥

I’ve been returning to Villa Viriditas since 2018, and it feels almost like coming home. Yoga weekends, fasting hikes and sweat lodge rituals have all been unforgettable. For me, it’s a magical place to slow down, relax and find peace. The setting is beautiful and quiet, the rooms are individually and lovingly furnished, and the fresh food is sustainable and delicious. There’s a fireplace and sauna in the house, plus a swimming pool nearby. The hosts, including Britta and Clemens, are so kind and clearly living their calling. I leave feeling like a new person every time, and I’m already looking forward to my next retreat at Villa Viriditas.

Breakfast was the highlight of our overnight stop during a hike. Most of it was homemade or came from regional producers, and it was delicious and so filling. We got a very friendly welcome, were well looked after, and even picked up a few useful tips for the rest of our hike. Everything is decorated with so much care that you feel at home and can relax right away. Simply top-notch. I’ll definitely stay here again.

Britta and Clemens looked after us with so much warmth and care during my relaxing fasting week at Villa Viriditas in early August. I really enjoyed the delicious fasting broth. The daily e-bike rides and yoga were challenging, but finishing them all left me proud, and I felt full of energy for days after getting home. The house and garden are both very cozy. If you want to switch off for a week, the Villa is a perfect place.
