B&B Hotel Oberhausen am Centro

The view from our window covered the theatre and the huge Centro mall, both right across the street, with a petrol station nearby too. We found this B&B really pleasant, and the staff were warm and helpful. They welcomed our dogs, which made travelling so much easier. We’ll definitely stay again, highly recommend it.

We enjoyed our stay and plan to come back. The hotel was quiet, clean, and reasonably priced, and bringing our two small dogs was no trouble. The male receptionist was especially helpful, pointing out the nearby shopping mall and suggesting a riverside route for walking the dogs. Breakfast was the one costly part.

The cleaning team were very friendly, and the rest of the staff were fine. The hotel itself was spotless, parking was available, and breakfast was okay, nothing special. Its location was a big plus, within walking distance of the promenade and mall. The pillows could really do with replacing, they weren’t very comfortable. What put me off was the older woman at reception who greeted us. She seemed irritated by everything, and even our questions appeared to bother her, so we stopped trying to talk with her. I’ve stayed at other nearby hotels before, and would look into those first if I return.

We picked this place for a one-night shopping trip to Centro. The room was clean, the receptionist was friendly, and the price felt like good value. The TV only had German channels. Parking was the snag when we got back in the evening, as all the spaces were taken, so we left the car at the Italian restaurant next door. We enjoyed our stay and would book here again when we're in Oberhausen.
