The generous breakfast had plenty to choose from: cereal, fruit, yogurt, juice, bottled water, pastries, bread, homemade jams, cheese, ham, scrambled eggs and bacon. Coffee was made fresh and brought over by the team, and there was tea too. I know some people have felt differently, but I found it a great spread. Our room was spotless and well cared for, with a roomy balcony that was a lovely place to watch the sunset. The hotel looks just like its website photos, and the staff were so friendly and helpful. There’s off-road parking and a very good restaurant as well. We stayed in August 2021. It’s a small, lovely hotel in a peaceful village on the edge of the Black Forest, and I thought it was excellent value. Nothing to fault.

We came for the hiking, and the location worked really well. The rooms were clean and modern, and the staff were friendly. They also made sure our special dietary requests were taken care of. The service was really impressive.

There were 13 of us, and everything we needed was sorted out. The place is beautiful, the service was very good, and we enjoyed the restaurant too. We had a great stay.

The seasonal food was delicious, especially the deer steak with marmalade and dumplings. The ice cream was really good too, and the service was friendly.

We got a very friendly welcome, even though we arrived in the evening. The rooms and restaurant are wheelchair accessible, and breakfast was wonderful, with healthy options.
