The room was spotless, warm and comfortable, with a lovely modern look. But the breakfast is the real reason I’d return. It was the best we’ve ever had anywhere, and every bite was delicious. We had such a great stay, thank you! 🙏💛

We like staying in a small village after a busy city day, and Hotel Bockmaier was a lovely find. Our room was roomy and had an en suite layout, and the owners were really friendly. The breakfast buffet stood out, you could tell how much care went into it, and it was fantastic. A hidden gem in the heart of Germany.

The staff are great, and the hotel itself is lovely and cozy. I slept so badly, though, that I can only give it two stars. Church bells rang every 15 minutes around the clock, including at night. I could hear them even with the windows shut, despite the windows and fittings being very good. Sorry, but I don't think I'll return, and I can't recommend it.

The staff were friendly and very helpful, and the rooms were clean, comfortable, and warm in winter. Bel Paese, the Italian restaurant in the hotel, served delicious food at reasonable prices, though it isn't open all the time, so check the hours. The hotel is about 20 km from Munich, in beautiful, peaceful surroundings with walking paths in nearby woods. There's a bus stop right outside, and the ride to the metro takes about 20 minutes. I'm sure I'll come back!

The people were fantastic, and the breakfast was gorgeous. The interior feels shiny and new, with top quality materials. Getting to Munich city centre takes no more than 30 minutes. It felt better than home, and even five stars don't seem enough!
