After a long hike, we came here for dinner while camping nearby. The food was fabulous, beautifully presented, and the flavours worked well together. Service was perfect, and the ladies were very sweet and helpful even though they didn't speak much English. The drinks list is basic but good; we had a decent amount, mainly wine. It's a fancy place, and in our dirty clothes and with our hiking bags we felt like we didn't belong, so I'd suggest dressing well if you visit. It's also a bit expensive for the location, though we felt it was worth it. I'd recommend it if you want a treat after a hike, fancy something special, or can spend a little extra on good food and drinks.

We came by while walking from Kirschzarten. Even without a reservation, they let us in for a meal. The food was the best I've had in a long time, and the service was excellent and really friendly. Just amazing. I'd highly recommend eating here if you can.

The location is beautiful, and the room was comfortable and very clean. The staff were friendly and did everything they could to meet our requests. They even helped translate the menu into English. Couldn't have asked for a better experience, thank you!

For a taste of today's modern Badische Kueche, this lovely restaurant is a great place to go. Chef Lutz cooks traditional Baden recipes to perfection, bringing familiar dishes to new levels while staying true to their roots. There are classics alongside newer dishes, with no frills or trends and nothing on the plate that shouldn't be there. The regional and national wine list is excellent, and the service and hospitality are outstanding. One of the best places for proper local and regional food in Baden, Southern Germany.

They cancelled our Christmas Day reservation, which we'd made a month earlier, saying a large group had taken our spot. There was no real explanation or apology, and no gift certificate after they left 13 of us without a place to eat on Christmas.
