The food was a real highlight, from the delicious breakfast with high quality local produce to the fine dining options on the evening menu. The staff were super helpful and friendly, too, and arranged a wonderful mountain biking excursion for me. I spent two nights at Allgau Sonne in September. My room was very pleasant, with an unmatched view of the nearby mountains from its spot just above town. It’s an incredibly picturesque location. The hotel feels luxurious as soon as you arrive, and its facilities are exceptional. The pool, spa, and gym area may be the nicest I’ve used anywhere. Thanks to the whole Allgau Sonne team. I can’t wait to stay again!

The hotel is in a beautiful location, with friendly staff and good service overall. Still, I wouldn’t rate it five stars. Four seems more appropriate. The rooms get too warm in summer because there’s no climate control, and the bathroom is very small and poorly designed for a spacious single room.

This hotel has been outstanding year after year for the last 30 years. The owner’s personal attention makes all the difference.

There’s a great restaurant, bar, and lounge with entertainment every night, and breakfast was a lovely experience. The retreat sits among the green hills of Austrian Alps, with breathtaking views and cozy amenities.

The setting is wonderful, with a great view, and it’s a quiet, relaxing place. The friendly staff welcome you on arrival and provide good service throughout. You can unwind with the sauna, massage, and swimming pool, while the well-equipped gym has an amazing view. There’s parking under the hotel, a good restaurant on the first floor, and a nice coffee shop and bar on the ground floor.
