The location is lovely for walks and hikes in the mountains, and the pool and saunas were really refreshing. The hotel is beautiful and old-fashioned, with the building kept in its original style while the rooms are very modern. Everything in our room was squeaky clean.

Lovely views, delicious traditional food, and a great breakfast buffet. It's a traditional hotel in Bavaria, with golf on the premises and lots of hiking nearby.

My boyfriend Steve and I were surprised by how good the food was for such affordable prices. We arrived at 6:30pm before the other guests and were seated right away. I ordered carpaccio while Steve went to the salad bar. Our server was a young, beautiful German girl. I asked her for bread and expected a basket with herb butter, but we got four slices on a plate with no butter. As more guests arrived, we noticed they were seated at the far end of the restaurant, away from us. At first I didn't think much of it, but Steve said he liked the restaurant while feeling uncomfortable there. We're from America, and I'd never experienced antisemitism. We'd spent over a week in Germany among kind, wonderful people. Then the restaurant filled up, but nobody sat near us. Everyone else had been seated at the far end. While eating ice cream, Steve lost a tooth, a crown. I was left wondering if the lack of a bread basket, being seated away from the other guests, and then the tooth were just my imagination. The whole thing gave me bad vibes, and I left angry. I won't return to this restaurant.

The bartender José is the best, especially with specialty drinks like espresso martinis and cosmopolitans. They're neither too sweet nor too strong. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful, and the hotel was kept very clean. Amazing hotel with world-class food.

We had a very tasty dinner, and our kids were welcome too. The service staff were really friendly and checked several times that everything was fine.
