We were very disappointed with this holiday apartment. It hadn’t been cleaned at all before we arrived, so we had to clean it ourselves before we could sleep there. Musty, used bed linen was still in the closet and seemed to have been sitting there for weeks. The upholstered furniture didn’t feel like somewhere you’d want to sit without a blanket, and the hallway smelled awful. The house itself seemed neglected too. We’ve never had an experience like this. The property manager promised us a bottle of sparkling wine to make up for the unpleasant stay, but it never arrived. There was no parking space belonging to the property, despite the listing saying there was a private one, so we had to park on the street. That would have been fine if the listing hadn’t said otherwise. The neighbor was another problem. Apparently the building is some kind of retirement home. She repeatedly leaned practically naked over the balcony railing, exposing her genitals, and tried to tell us how to behave in a very unpleasant, provocative way. We ended up avoiding the balcony altogether. We would never book here again. We politely raised these problems, but nothing was done: no repairs, no apology, nothing.
