Elisabeth was so kind and took care of everything during our five nights with the Schmid family. Our room was clean, lovely, and spacious, and we wanted for nothing. Breakfast was healthy and top quality. With the Oberstaufen Plus Card, entry to Aquaria and the mountain lifts were included, along with much more. We were very impressed. The guesthouse is quiet but right in the center. There’s a pizzeria next door and a supermarket a few meters further toward the center, so you can walk everywhere. It made for a wonderful holiday. We’ve stayed for a second time in this cozy family home with several guest rooms, and we’ll definitely return. Elisabeth is attentive, friendly, and welcoming. Breakfast is fresh and plentiful, and the apartments are conveniently close to the town center. The garden and Elisabeth’s wonderful dog made our stay even nicer. Grander water comes from all the taps. We highly recommend it!

We felt at home straight away. Everyone was warm, welcoming, and helpful, and the whole stay was uncomplicated. Elisabeth puts care into choosing regional products for a fantastic breakfast. I stay here several times a year, and I’m already looking forward to another warm welcome from the Schmid family and more time in the beautiful Allgäu. It’s a superb guesthouse with a lovingly landscaped garden and friendly hosts who make sure guests’ needs and wishes are taken care of. Breakfast is generous and well balanced, with fresh regional products. I highly recommend it!

We had four lovely days at Gästehaus Schmid in Oberstaufen. The rooms were clean and pleasant, and the generous breakfast was a real highlight, just the thing to fuel a climb up any mountain. We’re already looking forward to next year. Best regards.
