Der Landhof

Our toddler loved watching the horses through the window, and we were glad to come back to a warm apartment after volunteering at the ski jumping event. We had a lovely, relaxing short break in the Rosmarin apartment. It was just the right size for three adults and a toddler, and a highchair and cot with bedding were supplied free when we asked. The kitchen was incredibly well stocked, with three kinds of coffee maker, a microwave, an oven with baking paper, an egg cooker, plenty of dishes and even a Bluetooth speaker. It's outside the city center, but still an easy walk in.

We had a lovely time in and around Oberstdorf, and we'd consider booking here again if a few things were improved. The location is ideal, and the apartment was generally fine, but the mattresses were much too worn for us and really need replacing. An extra frying pan with an intact non-stick coating would have helped too. The plastic flowers around the house aren't particularly attractive, though that's a matter of taste. At about four stars, the price and what you get don't quite line up.

Dear Alexa, we always feel welcome and comfortable at your Landhof. The apartments are cozy, and the location is hard to beat. Thanks for all your advice and tips, and for always being there to help us. We had another wonderful, relaxing stay and are already looking forward to coming back next year, twice more. The apartment was quiet, spacious, clean, and had everything we needed. We stayed three nights, but the TV kept showing subtitles, which bothered us. Even the caretaker couldn't fix it because the original remote was missing.
