Ferienhaus Geiger Hotel

The host looked after us wonderfully, and everything was spotless. Even though we booked at the last minute, the whole stay went smoothly. We felt very comfortable and will definitely return.

The view is beautiful, and the location is very good. The landlord was nice, too. But apartment 3 was expensive for such a basic setup. There was only a portable two-burner cooktop to put on the ceramic hob, and the kitchen had very little equipment. One lamp was broken on our first day, and the heating only worked partly. There’s no balcony, just a so-called panoramic conservatory that’s too small for more than two people. I can’t see how it’s advertised for four: there’s a Murphy bed and a little loft bed in the kitchen, which seems adventurous, and is only suitable for someone no taller than 1.70 meters. With the Murphy bed down, the room is completely full. And, as so often, the photos don’t show the bed. I don’t understand some of the negative reviews, though I realize the building has different apartments.

The place was spotless and well cared for, and the hosts were so warm and personal. It’s right in the center but still peaceful. We had a wonderful holiday and would happily return.

The room was really nice, but the Wi-Fi was terrible and sometimes didn’t work at all. Otherwise, four stars.
