Gästehaus Bühler

The newly renovated room looked nice, but hallway noise carried through the door late at night, which wasn't soundproof at all. I'd rather see money spent on soundproof doors than on that odd ultramodern shower with push buttons. You have to wait 30 seconds for the water to come out.

Our double room was nicely furnished, and the balcony had a great view. Free parking was available on the property, and the breakfast room had a cozy Bavarian feel. Breakfast had what we needed for a busy day. When we arrived, we were given plenty of useful information, including about accessible hikes nearby, Breitachklamm gorge, and the center of Oberstdorf. Everything worked out perfectly for us, and we loved the atmosphere in Tiefenbach in the Oberallgäu district.

The room was tiny, and €526.00 for four days was completely unreasonable. We won't be coming back. Every morning the bathroom smelled strongly of sewage, which was awful. Breakfast was a joke: once they ran out of bread rolls, and when food was gone, it wasn't replenished. The fruit salad barely deserved the name, and there was even a live fly in the sugar bowl. The owners' dog was constantly in the kitchen, where it shouldn't be, and also ran around the breakfast room. My girlfriend and I love animals and have pets ourselves, but no animal belongs in a kitchen. We stayed at Gästehaus Bühler for four nights in October, breakfast included.

The warm service was the best part of an already lovely stay. The rooms and lounge were tastefully furnished with care, the beds were superb, and the bathroom was very modern. Breakfast was excellent and generous, and everything felt more than worth the price. Thank you so much!
