Gästehaus Carola

A nice room, delicious breakfast, and owners who were friendly and helpful. They also speak very good english. Fantastic location!

We spent a week at Gästehaus Carola in the summer and felt well cared for throughout. The hostess was attentive and welcoming, and breakfast was lovingly put together each morning. It was delicious, with nothing missing. Our very clean room had plenty of space for luggage and clothes, plus a mountain view. The location is quiet and convenient for the train station, with shops nearby and everything else within walking distance. We highly recommend Gästehaus Carola and will definitely come back :-)

During my week of skiing, I was comfortable in the clean, nicely furnished rooms and felt right at home. Breakfast was excellent, and they accommodated special requests. The location made everything easy, with ski areas, restaurants, and shops nearby. I had a wonderful stay at Gästehaus Carola and would love to return!

We were about five minutes on foot from the pedestrian zone, so the location felt central, but the area right outside was wonderfully quiet. Parking was free in front of the building. The owner always had time for a brief chat and even surprised us with a bottle of sparkling wine for our wedding anniversary. For Oberstdorf, the guesthouse was reasonably priced. Before we arrived, our questions by email were answered quickly, and check-in using the key box was easy. Our room was a good size, though the bathroom was small. The mattress was quite old, but we still slept very well. We also loved the large, sunny south-facing balcony. The rooms were cleaned on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, and our towels were changed once during the week. Breakfast offered a good, varied selection that suited us. Some mornings we shared the table and got to meet some lovely people.
