Gästehaus Kissner

Dinner options and supermarkets are close by, and the house is peaceful even though it sits in a central spot. The Kissner Guesthouse also makes getting around easy: the bus and train station is about 350 meters away, and the ski slopes are accessible too. The hostess knows the area well and is glad to suggest things to do. She made us a delicious breakfast and was happy to handle special requests. My one reservation was the rather basic furnishings, so I took off a star.

Mrs. Kissner knows the area well and had great suggestions for leisure activities. The breakfast buffet was delicious, and it was handy to find drinks in the fridge at very reasonable prices. The location in Oberstdorf is excellent, and the hostess was genuinely lovely. We'd happily stay again.

The owners were so friendly, and we felt comfortable throughout our 10-day stay. For hiking, the location was fantastic, while the town center was about a 10-minute walk away. Evenings were quiet, and all the apartments have large balconies. We arranged daily delivery of bread and groceries, and our special requests were all taken care of. In summer, all the mountain lifts are included, with additional discounts at nearby attractions. I had booked online, but the owner suggested cancelling that reservation and booking directly with her instead, which saved me quite a bit.

We felt completely at ease. Mrs. Kissner is such a kind person and really cares about her guests.
