The visitor pass made a big difference, with free use of the mountain lifts and great value. My apartment, or bedsit, was well equipped and right in the town center. There was secure underground parking at the hotel next door.

Every room had a balcony, and the apartment was very clean and had everything we needed. It was quiet, yet just a 10-minute walk to the town center or the Nebelhorn cable car. A lovely place for a family with children. We'd be glad to return. The Höger Family.

The welcome arrangements were fine when my friend and I arrived relatively late for a four-night ski trip: an envelope with information and our room cards was ready. The location was quiet, about 10 minutes from the Nebelhorn cable car and not far from town. Beyond that, unfortunately, we were very unhappy with the apartment. We hadn't been told we'd be staying in a dark basement flat with no balcony or terrace, and nowhere inviting to sit. The photos in our booking showed a different apartment, with a large bright window and a balcony. When we asked more than once about this, another apartment was offered, but only for the last day before departure and at an extra charge. That felt outrageous. We had no phone or internet reception, which isn't acceptable these days. There was only one small frying pan and hardly any cooking utensils. The bathroom was clean and modern, to be fair, but its window gave a stunning 20 cm view of a concrete facade beneath a light well. The hallway smelled like a doctor's waiting room, and the gravel area in front of the only source of daylight, the window, wasn't pleasant to look at. There was nowhere to hang jackets or put things down in the entrance or kitchen area. The worn leather couch was dirty, with crumbs from 10 previous occupants in the creases, so it wasn't somewhere to relax. It also wasn't remotely enough for two people to sleep on. Booking so late was our mistake, and we were glad to find anything available, but neither of us felt comfortable or satisfied, even after several attempts to look at the apartment objectively. We won't book here again or recommend it.
