We were welcomed into a sunny room on short notice, and the beds were excellent. Mrs. Leiter was friendly and quick to help. The restaurant behind the hotel had great food options, and breakfast the next morning was outstanding. Thank you, Mrs. Leiter. We really appreciate you. Joyce * Ted Eve

We booked two rooms and ate at the restaurant, and the experience was awful. The cucumber soup was extremely salty, the pasta had too little salt, and the fish had so many bones that I couldn't eat any of it. In the rooms, the furniture was old and outdated, and the mattresses were so soft our bodies sank into them. We weren't given towels, or a second pillow and blanket. There was a loud party in the Biergarten in the evening while we were trying to rest. We also had to share a bathroom with another room. It was next to a "conference room" filled with all sorts of junk. This was the worst hotel experience in Germany for us. Don't waste your money at Hotel Sonnenhof. Never again.

The room was clean and good enough, though dated and hot in summer. The owner was friendly, and the food was excellent.
