The food was good, but the waiter was grumpy and rude, even by the standards of normal German waiters. Beer was 4 euros, which was too much.

The portions were sufficient, and the service was great and friendly. We only had dinner here, so I can’t say anything about the guesthouse rooms. We tried pumpkin soup, schnitzel, and knuckle of pork. The food tasted very good, although the knuckle’s crust was crispy in only one spot, so that dish gets four stars from me. There are lots of steps, so it isn’t wheelchair accessible.

The daily special we had for lunch, fricassee with rice, was absolutely delicious 😋. The service was friendly and efficient. We wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant.

We all enjoyed our meals and the portions were generous. My daughter had rice pudding, my wife chose trout, and I had a rump steak. The steak was beautifully presented and perfectly seared, with fantastic-tasting meat. Service was very friendly and attentive throughout our meal together. Highly recommended!

I had dinner here twice and was delighted with the food, which was probably the best in town. The accommodation was fantastic too, with friendly staff and a good breakfast.
