I came across this Bavarian gem by chance and had an excellent lunch. Dogs are welcome, and they also offer facilities for weddings and business events. Highly recommend.

A really quaint, homey place with excellent food, though the wait was a bit long. I didn't see any Wi-Fi during my visit, at least. The staff were friendly and accommodating despite the language gap, their limited English and my terrible German. I'd recommend it for a good meal. If it's crowded, probably best to come with plenty of company.

Everything I tried tasted amazing. I even ate tomatoes, and anyone who knows me knows I'm not a fan. For a starter I had deer carpaccio with green pesto and parmesan, then gnocchi with oven-roasted tomatoes and walnuts in sage butter. It's a warm, cosy restaurant with a great menu and lots of different flavours. A top choice in Obing!

The location is lovely, right by a lake and still central to the village, with a good range of shops. This country hotel is warm and comfortable, with very friendly, helpful staff and free Wi-Fi. The restaurant is great, with plenty of menu choices. The wellness area is amazing and state of the art, with a steam sauna and a few fitness machines. Highly recommended.

Delicious local food, including Tafelspitz, venison and veal schnitzel, in a relaxed and friendly setting. A traditional Bavarian Gasthaus and Biergarten.
